UAE consul general in Karachi, met with Sindh

Karachi: Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s ruler representative in the Al-Dhafra region along with Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Rumaihiti, the UAE consul general in Karachi met with Sindh Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah. The meeting focused on investment opportunities in the interior Sindh region.
Sindh’s Natural Resources
Minister Shah highlighted that Sindh has many natural resources. He stressed that these resources are important for attracting foreign investment. Currently, the Thar coal project generates 3,000 megawatts of electricity. This power is added to the national grid, which helps reduce the electricity crisis in Pakistan.
UAE’s Commitment to Pakistan
Sheikh Hamdan expressed the UAE’s strong interest in investing in Pakistan. He mentioned that future investments would focus on electricity and other projects. He also assured that the UAE government will always support Pakistan in difficult times.
