Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah led a key meeting at the CM House to review preparations for the upcoming Aman Exercise & Dialogue, scheduled to take place from February 7 to 12, 2025.
Meeting Overview
The meeting was attended by Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Commander Karachi Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal, the Home Secretary, Inspector General of Police, Commissioner Karachi, provincial secretaries, and senior officials from the Pakistan Navy, Rangers, and other relevant institutions. Vice Admiral Faisal presented an overview of the event, which will see participation from 56 countries, including several naval chiefs.

CM Murad Ali Shah highlighted the significance of the Aman Exercise & Dialogue, stressing its importance for Karachi. “It is very important,” he remarked, emphasizing the provincial government’s commitment to warmly welcoming all guests.
Preparations for the Event
The CM directed Karachi’s Mayor to ensure that all necessary facilities are in place before the event. This includes enhancing the city’s infrastructure, such as streetlights, the sewerage system, road repairs, and cleanliness.
Security Arrangements and Coordination
In addition to infrastructure improvements, CM Shah instructed the Inspector General of Police to collaborate with the Pakistan Navy in finalizing security measures. “The Aman Event is our initiative, and it will be organised grandly,” he affirmed.
