Karachi: In a landmark initiative to strengthen tourism and cultural ties between Pakistan and Türkiye, the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), in collaboration with Pakistan’s Ministry of Tourism and Culture, hosted the first official influencer trip from Pakistan this month. The journey was curated by Asiatic Public Relations Network (APR).
Six Pakistani Influencers Experience Türkiye
Six prominent Pakistani social media influencers—Hamza Bhatti, Osama Nasir, Umama Ismail, Ghuas Gondal, Fariha Asghar, and Rea Rana—immersed themselves in Türkiye’s vibrant culture, with Istanbul as the centerpiece of their itinerary.
A Blend of Heritage, Culture, and Modernity
The curated trip offered a diverse mix of experiences:
- Historic Landmarks: The influencers explored iconic sites including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Basilica Cistern.
- Cultural Neighborhoods: Strolling through the colorful streets of Balat and Fener, they captured the city’s blend of tradition and contemporary life.
- Local Life & Shopping: Visits to the Spice Bazaar, Istiklal Street, and Galataport offered a glimpse into everyday Istanbul life.
- Bosphorus Cruise: The cruise highlighted Istanbul’s unique position as a city bridging Europe and Asia.
Turkish Cuisine Takes Center Stage
Gastronomy was a central focus, with influencers enjoying authentic Turkish dishes and modern fusion delicacies, reflecting Türkiye’s celebrated culinary heritage.

A TGA representative said:
