Karachi: Inclusive Destiny, a promising startup from NIC Cohort 13, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Khudi Foundation, led by Ms. Sarwat Nasim Shah, Chairperson of Khudi Foundation and MD Zaamin Builders. The milestone ceremony at NIC Karachi also marked the announcement of an angel investment, dedicated to the memory of the late Zubeida Mustafa, whose vision and encouragement continue to inspire Inclusive Destiny’s mission.
The event was attended by Mr. Syed Azfar Hussain, Project Director at NIC, whose leadership has been pivotal in creating an enabling ecosystem for startups. His presence reaffirmed NIC’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, especially those driving social impact and inclusivity.
Advisors and community supporters played a vital role in Inclusive Destiny’s journey. Dr. Badar Sami continues to guide as an advisor, while Sundus Haseeb and Wajiha Adeel contribute as community advisors. Representing the core team, Adeel Raja, Pakistan’s first visually impaired software engineer and founder-entrepreneur, along with Aleena Tariq, Marketing Manager, highlighted the startup’s dedication and resilience.
As the first NIC startup led by a visually impaired entrepreneur in Cohort 13, Inclusive Destiny is now preparing to launch Pakistan’s first Helper App platform for Persons with Disabilities, starting with the Inclusive Companion App. This groundbreaking innovation aims to address critical challenges in mobility and accessibility, aligning with global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
With the support of advisors, partners, and a strong vision, Inclusive Destiny is moving forward to shape a future where accessibility is not an aspiration but a reality.
