Karachi: Mohammad Rizwan Adhia, the District Governor of Rotary International District 3271 Pakistan, visited the NDF Rehabilitation Center in Nawabshah to review the facilities provided to children with disabilities. During his visit, Abid Lashari, President of NDF Pakistan, highlighted the center’s efforts in enhancing the quality of life for disabled children through various services.
The NDF Rehabilitation Center offers free physiotherapy, psychotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and Early Childhood Education (ECE) to help with the physical, mental, and social development of disabled children.
Rotary District Governor Lauds NDF’s Efforts
District Governor Mohammad Rizwan Adhia praised the center for its dedicated efforts in rehabilitating mentally disabled children, emphasizing the importance of providing both treatment and education. He acknowledged the hard work of the doctors and staff at NDF and expressed Rotary’s commitment to supporting the center’s initiatives.
Adhia further stated that NDF is not only focused on physical rehabilitation but also plays a key role in the mental and social development of children. He urged for greater awareness to create a society where every individual has equal opportunities.
NDF’s Impact on Disabled Children
President Abid Lashari shared that NDF is currently serving over 400 disabled children with the support of the Sindh Government’s Department of Improvement of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD). He emphasized that the center is providing top-notch facilities to help these children overcome life’s challenges.
