Karachi: An exclusive high-level meeting was recently held to explore strategic collaborations with top-tier international contracting firms from Thailand and China. The focus of the meeting was to identify credible Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors for large-scale infrastructure and urban development projects across Pakistan, particularly in Sindh province.
Focus on Water Infrastructure and Sustainability
The primary agenda centered on forming public-private partnerships (PPPs) and government-led initiatives with foreign EPC firms to strengthen Pakistan’s infrastructure sector. A major area of interest was the development of advanced water supply and treatment systems in both urban and rural areas.

- Development of sustainable urban and rural water supply networks
- Installation of wastewater treatment facilities
- Implementation of smart water metering and distribution systems
