Karachi: The House of Amir Adnan debuted its much-anticipated Summer 2025 collection, Nakhlistan, in a spectacular fashion showcase at Area 51, Karachi. Designed as an immersive experience inspired by a desert oasis, the collection merged ancient mystique with modern elegance. Flowing silhouettes, tactile textures, and symbolic details brought the theme of survival, softness, and storytelling to life.
Leadership Transition to Parishae Adnan
The evening also marked a major milestone for the brand as Parishae Adnan officially assumed the role of CEO. A celebrated designer and passionate advocate for sustainability, Parishae brings a fresh vision rooted in cultural depth, innovation, and responsible luxury.
“Nakhlistan—meaning oasis—symbolizes a sanctuary of hope amidst vast, uncertain landscapes. For me, my Nakhlistan is my company and the people I work with. I hope this show symbolizes a beacon of light for anyone needing a reason to keep moving forward,” said Parishae.
A Collection That Blends Tradition With Innovation
The Nakhlistan Summer 2025 collection showcased earthy desert tones, soft pastels, and dramatic blacks. Designs moved between flowing drapes and structured tailoring, highlighting both strength and grace. Standout features included asymmetrical embroidery, silk linings with custom motifs, and detailed craftsmanship—hallmarks of Parishae’s commitment to authenticity and artistic excellence.
Celebrities and Industry Icons Attend the Showcase
The event attracted leading names from fashion, film, and media. Celebrities such as Ahad Raza Mir, Ahsan Khan, Khushhal Khan, Azfar Rehman, and Ali Rehman graced the event. Media figures Seema Taher Khan and Saqib Malik, and art patron Imran Kureishi, also attended.
Creative Team Behind Nakhlistan
The show was a collaborative artistic effort. Nabila’s team led makeup and hair, while Zinc coordinated a cast of 53 models, making it one of the largest showcases of the season. Sound design by Omer Saeed added a cinematic touch, complemented by Ayesha Noor Kurd’s evocative lighting. The show was choreographed by Nida Butt, with fashion direction by Tabesh Khoja, who curated each look with editorial precision. Area 51 served as the ideal venue for the dreamy desert-inspired theme.
