Objective of the Youth Ambassador Program
The “Youth Ambassador Program” aims to bridge educational institutions with cultural activities, encouraging students from various disciplines, including International Relations, Information Technology, Science and Technology, Law, and Health Sciences, to engage in cultural and creative endeavors. Muhammad Ahmed Shah emphasized the program’s role in connecting the younger generation with arts and culture.
Program Details and Scope
The program will span from Sukkur and Obaro to Karachi, with the initial phase commencing in Karachi. He shared that even senior professors at the Arts Council have demonstrated their artistic talents, and students from Dow Medical College have actively participated in Arts Council festivals.
Arts Council’s Commitment to Cultural Development
Muhammad Ahmed Shah also noted the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi’s ongoing efforts to rejuvenate arts councils across Sindh. These initiatives include hiring fine arts and music teachers, organizing the Pakistan Literature Festival in various cities, and establishing a creative data bank for young talents. Additionally, the Arts Council will host the World Cultural Festival in September, featuring artists from 33 countries and workshops.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Saeed Qureshi expressed pride in Dow University students’ participation in the Youth Ambassador Program and their previous contributions to Arts Council events.
