Karachi: Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, visited the BISP Payment Center in Ibrahim Hyderi, Malir, to review the payment process for the Q-IV tranche of 2024-25 and address issues faced by women in withdrawing their payments. She was accompanied by Provincial Minister for Women Development Shahina Sher Ali.
Strict Action Against Staff Shortages
Senator Rubina Khalid expressed concern over the shortage of bank staff and devices at the center. She directed the partner bank to address these deficiencies by tomorrow to prevent women from waiting in long queues.
Clear Guidelines for Beneficiaries
While speaking to BISP beneficiaries, Senator Khalid emphasized the importance of receiving full payments without deductions. She clarified that 8171 is the official number for BISP and cautioned women against fraudulent messages from other numbers. Beneficiaries were urged to immediately report any illegal deductions.
