Islamabad: The Embassy of Algeria in Islamabad commemorated Algeria’s 70th National Day, marking the anniversary of the liberation revolution on November 1, with a ceremony at Serena Hotel. The event, attended by Mrs. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister of Information Technology and Communication, attracted dignitaries from the diplomatic corps, international organizations, Pakistan’s parliament, chambers of commerce, and academic and media institutions, along with the Algerian community in Pakistan.
Algerian-Pakistani Relations Celebrated by Ambassador and Minister
In his address, Ambassador Brahim Romani emphasized the enduring solidarity, coordination, and cooperation between Algeria and Pakistan, underlining Algeria’s role as a key regional player, a gateway to Africa, and the third-largest economy on the continent. Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja also praised the robust Algerian-Pakistani relations and highlighted the extensive partnership opportunities available between the two countries.
This celebration underscored the depth of the Algeria-Pakistan bond and explored pathways for strengthening cooperation in various fields.
