Karachi: A grand iftar dinner was hosted at the residence of the UAE Consul General in honor of international Jiu-Jitsu athletes, bringing together medalists from the 2025 Asian Youth Championship, former international champions, and distinguished guests.
The event was organized under the patronage of Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi, Consul General of the UAE and Patron-in-Chief of the Sindh Jiu-Jitsu Association. In his address, he reaffirmed his commitment to promoting the sport among Sindh’s youth, emphasizing its significance in the UAE.

Dr. Bakheet highlighted that Jiu-Jitsu is widely embraced in the UAE, with strong participation from school and college students. He expressed his aspiration to see Sindh’s youth excel in the sport and compete on the global stage.

Sindh’s youth have immense potential to refine their skills and gain international recognition. I am dedicated to providing world-class training opportunities and ensuring young athletes in Sindh and Karachi thrive in this sport.”
