Frankfurt: Pakistan made a powerful debut on the opening day of Heimtextil 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for home and contract textiles, held in Frankfurt am Main. With 275 exhibitors, Pakistan is the third-largest participating country, following China and India, showcasing its growing prominence in the global textile industry.
The event, running from January 14 to 17, 2025, highlights Pakistan’s expertise in home and contract textiles, with the country making its largest-ever participation. A strategic move to prestigious Halls 8 and 9 underscores Pakistan’s elevated profile.
Prominent Exhibitors and Comprehensive Representation
Leading Pakistani textile brands, including Al-Karam, Gul Ahmed, Towellers, Gohar, Lucky Textile, Sadaqat Limited, and Adamjee Enterprises, are showcasing their products alongside several small and medium-sized enterprises. Many of these SMEs are participating under the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), ensuring broad representation across the sector.
Strengthening Global Business Ties
Mrs. Amna Naeem, Pakistan’s Commercial Counselor in Frankfurt, organized a special networking event for Pakistani and German businessmen, supported by Heimtextil and the German AHK desk. The event aims to foster collaborations and strengthen bilateral trade ties.
His Excellency, Mr. Shifaat Ahmed Kaleem, Consul General of Pakistan in Frankfurt, attended the fair and lauded the efforts of Pakistani exhibitors.
Promising Start for Pakistani Exhibitors
CEO of Al Ghani Terry Mills Pvt Ltd, Arif Ehsan Malik, shared that the first day attracted significant buyer interest from Europe and other regions. The enthusiasm and footfall at the event signal a promising outlook for the remaining days of the fair.

Over 2,200 Pakistani professionals are actively participating in Heimtextil 2025, including 1,000 trade visitors, 275 exhibitors, and 1,200 support staff. Their collective efforts highlight Pakistan’s robust presence and reinforce its position as a key player in the international textile market.
