Karachi: The Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, is all set to host the 17th Aalmi Urdu Conference, themed “Jashan-e-Karachi,” from December 5 to December 8, 2024. A press conference was held at Haseena Moin Hall, where President Muhammad Ahmed Shah, renowned intellectual Anwar Maqsood, eminent poet Iftikhar Arif, writer Noor-ul-Huda Shah, and Ejaz Farooqi briefed the media about the upcoming event.

The conference will feature over 60 sessions, highlighting Karachi’s literary, artistic, and cultural contributions. A grand opening session will take place at the YMCA Ground, reflecting the immense public interest.
