Karachi: Unilever Pakistan has introduced its new strategy, “Sustainability Accelerated,” to promote immediate actions toward sustainability. This initiative emphasizes climate action, plastic reuse, and economic development.
Mayor Murtaza Wahab Highlights Need for Sustainability
Speaking at the event, Karachi’s Mayor, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, stressed that Pakistani cities must prioritize sustainability. He stated, “Unilever’s ‘Sustainability Accelerated’ addresses environmental challenges and enhances our economy, which is crucial for the prosperity of our people. I am hopeful we can create a more sustainable future together.”

Over the past four years, Unilever has collected and reused more than 100% of the plastic from its products, achieving zero-plastic-waste status.
