Karachi: In a strategic initiative to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and promote economic growth in Sindh, the Sindh Enterprise Development Fund (SEDF) has signed an Institutional Collaboration Agreement with HABIBMETRO.
The signing ceremony was held at the HABIBMETRO Head Office, where Mr. Khizar Pervaiz, CEO of SEDF, and Mr. Khurram Shahzad Khan, President & Chief Executive of HABIBMETRO, formalized the partnership. The event was attended by key representatives from both organizations.
This collaboration aims to facilitate long-term financing options and technical support for SMEs across priority sectors, including agriculture, livestock, dairy, mining, green energy, and women entrepreneurship. As part of this agreement, the Sindh Enterprise Development Fund will offer subsidies on KIBOR, making credit more accessible and affordable for businesses seeking to expand in Sindh.
Mr. Khizar Pervaiz stated, “This agreement underscores our commitment to accelerating the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises by providing financial and technical support. Together with HABIBMETRO, we are creating an enabling environment for local businesses to thrive, ultimately contributing to the economic prosperity of Sindh.”
