Karachi: The Consulate General of Indonesia in Karachi hosted a business lunch for Sindh businessmen ahead of the 1st Indonesia-South and Central Asia Business Forum (INASCA) and the 39th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2024. The luncheon, held at the PC Hotel, served as a precursor to the upcoming trade events scheduled in Jakarta.

- Upcoming Events in Indonesia: This October, Indonesia will host the 1st INASCA and the 39th TEI in Jakarta, two major economic events from October 7 to 12, 2024. These events are among the largest business and trade platforms in the region, showcasing Indonesian products, services, and innovations. Attendees can benefit from business matchmaking sessions, trade missions, and international seminars, offering unique opportunities to forge new partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
- Participation from Sindh: Around 50 businessmen from Sindh are expected to participate in these trade events, marking a significant presence from Pakistan.
- Business Lunch Hosted by Indonesian Consulate: Acting Consul General of Indonesia, Mr. Teguh Wiweko, hosted a lunch to acknowledge and appreciate the interest shown by the Sindh business community in engaging with Indonesian businesses. The event was attended by notable figures, including Mr. Abid Nizar, President of the Pakistan-Indonesia Business Council, and Mr. Shamoon Zaki, President of the Pakistan-Indonesia Business Forum.
