Abu Dhabi: The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi inaugurated its newly renovated NADRA Hall on Monday, a facility aimed at enhancing services for the Pakistani community in the United Arab Emirates.
Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s envoy to the UAE, and Abbas Darwish Lari, Chairman of Lari Exchange, jointly opened the upgraded hall. The project was supported by Lari Exchange as part of a community welfare initiative.
In his remarks, Ambassador Tirmizi said the Embassy’s seating capacity for visitors had increased from 200 to 500 following the recent renovation of the Consular Hall and now the NADRA Hall. “With our collective efforts, Pakistani nationals can now experience more efficient access and better facilities when availing services at the Embassy,” he noted.
The envoy stressed that enhancing community welfare and ensuring efficient consular services remain his top priorities.
On behalf of Lari Exchange CEO Fuaad Abbas Darwish Lari, company representative Syed Zulfiqar Haider Bilgrami expressed appreciation for the partnership, pledging continued support to the Pakistani community in the UAE through safe and legal remittance channels.
Ambassador Tirmizi also acknowledged the contributions of Ms. Kiran Kazmi, Head of Chancery, her team, and volunteer artist Manzoor K. Hasrat for their roles in the successful completion of the renovation.
The ceremony was attended by embassy officials and members of the Pakistani community.
