Karachi: Member of Sindh Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary for Minorities Affairs, Roma Mushtaq Matto, visited the relief camp set up by the District West Minority Wing to support flood-affected families. The local community of Khuda Ki Basti warmly welcomed her on the occasion.
Speaking at the camp, Roma Mushtaq Matto said, “This camp is not just a relief center but a shining example of service to humanity and compassion. The people of Khuda Ki Basti, through their spirit of sacrifice and kindness, have brought new rays of hope and joy to the faces of the affected families.”
She emphasized that standing by one another in difficult times reflects the true spirit of humanity and appreciated all those who donated and extended support to the flood victims.
Quoting PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, she reiterated that it is the collective duty of society to stand with flood-affected families and assure them they are not alone. She added that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has always prioritized serving the people and will continue its struggle for relief and rehabilitation.
Roma Mushtaq Matto also praised the community’s charitable efforts, prayed for the acceptance of their noble deeds, and reaffirmed PPP’s commitment to remain at the forefront of every relief initiative.
